Designer bag and accessories designer Anya Hindmarch has finally stepped into the home fragrance market with her new candle range.
In collaboration with perfumer Lyn Harris, Hindmarch has launched a range of three scented candles titled “Anya Hindmarch Smells!”, with fragrances such as Sun Lotion (Italian bergamot, Tunisian orange flower, angelica seed, cedar wood from Texas, vanilla and musk), Baby Powder (bergamot, Italian mandarin and rose petal, violet leaf from France, heliotrope, benjoin Siam, vanilla, tonka bean from Venezuela and musk), and Coffee (café abs, galbanum from Iran, cardamom from India, vetiver, patchouli, Virginia cedar wood, tonka bean, frankincense and amber). Prices start at £50.
“The candles have been designed in the same humorous approach as our main line, while being deadly serious in terms of how they have [been] conceived with Perfumer H’s Lyn Harris and the ingredients she has used,” Hindmarch told Business of Fashion.
The candles are also produced in partnership with United Perfumes, the distributor behind premium brands such as Fornasetti and Cire Trudon.
To support the launch, a concept store for Anya Smells will be opened on Sloane Street, London to feature the three products.
