In an attempt to capture wider Chinese audience, Louis Vuitton has launched a new e-commerce market in the country.
The website, which sells leather goods, apparels, shoes, fragrances, luggage, watch and jewellery, is available in 12 big cities starting July 20. Payments can be made through Alipay, WeChat and UnionPay.
The Chinese website is LV’s 11th e-commerce market since the first was debuted in France in 2005.
LV is not the only luxury brand to expand its digital business to China. Gucci launched its own online shopping service in the country two weeks ago, and Prada is expected to follow suit in the third quarter.
