Supreme x Rimowa’s Collaboration Sold Out Online in Less Than A Minute

Supreme’s collection with luxury German luggage brand Rimowa has sold out in less than a minute.

The collection features custom versions of Rimowa’s classic Topas Multiwheel carry-on with a large Supreme logo on the side, coming in two sizes (82L and 45L) and two colours (red and black). The luggage cases – which feature Rimowa’s trademark aluminium bodies, Multiwheel rolling wheels, TSA combination locks and two internal Flex-Divider systems – retailed at $1,800 for the 82L size and $1,600 for the 45L.

The collection was sold out online on Thursday’s drop, with the 82L red case selling out in just 16 seconds. Limited quantities will arrive at select Rimowa stores this Saturday.

The streetwear community has been polarised over the collaboration. According to Highsnobiety, Rimowa’s German origin makes it unsuitable for a partnership with Supreme, which is known for favouring fellow New York-related brands.

Supreme has previously launched collaborations with A Bathing Ape (2008), United Arrows (2008/2010/2016), Fendi (2017) and Anti Social Social Club (January 2018) as well as one yet to be released with OFF-WHITE.
